Sarah Wilder

Substitute Teacher

Sarah is very excited to be joining the Treasure Tree Academy family this year.  She taught 3rd grade for two years before leaving the school system to be a stay at home mom when her oldest son was born.  She spent 16 years at home and is the mother of four children.  She returned to the classroom two years ago and has been teaching Title 1 Preschool in the Alpine School District.

Sarah was raised in a line of educators and married one as her husband is also a teacher for the Provo School District.  She enjoys music and has taught private piano lessons since 1992.  She also enjoys sewing in her free time.  She is a big Disney fan and still owns many of the original VHS Disney Movies and even has a VHS player to watch them on. 🙂  She calls Disneyland her second home.

Sarah loves teaching preschool and everything about it.  She loves working on curriculum, lesson plans, and especially teaching kids to recognize and learn the phonetic awareness of letters.
