My name is Nya Dean and I am so excited to be an assistant teacher at Treasure Tree Academy this year. I am currently pursuing my early childhood education degree at Utah Valley University. I have 5+ years of experience in childcare as a nanny, tutor and babysitter. I worked as an assistant teacher during my high school child development class at the onsite preschool.

I love working with children because they bring so much joy to our lives. My favorite part about working with children is watching them discover new things through art and stories. I am passionate about early childhood education and child development. I support learning and development through creativity, play, patience, and love.

Outside of the classroom I love to read and do art activities. I look forward to partnering with your families to make this a wonderful, exciting school year!
