Kierston Gonzales (Miss Kiki)
All children have infinite potential, waiting to be shaped and nurtured as they discover who they are in the world. Growing up on a competitive dance team contributed to my constant determination to be better than I was yesterday. Anything is possible with faith and hard work. For me, there is no role more important than that of teaching, inspiring, and caring for children. Afterall, I owe much of my personal growth as a youth to the extraordinary teachers and mentors who believed in me throughout my journey. Other than teaching, I especially enjoy the arts, culture, and nature.
Several years of experience in child care, after school tutoring, assistant teaching, and leading youth scholastic programs have led me here! Currently, I attend BYU with a goal to graduate in the School of Communications. Language is a fun aspect of teaching that I thoroughly enjoy. I have had invaluable opportunities to teach English in the Caribbean as well as Spanish to preschoolers in my hometown. The opportunity to instruct ballet also serves as a great milestone in my teaching career thus far.
