Hi, my name is Katie. I married my husband, Danny, in 2005. We had 4 daughters in 5 years thanks to the surprise of identical twins. Three years later, we finished off our family with our only son. I have lived in Mapleton for over 16 years and love it here! I love to read and collect books. I even have my own library in my house! I also enjoy writing/journaling, making photobooks for my family, baking, and I love to travel and see the world! The beach is one of my favorite places to be. I graduated from BYU-Idaho with an associates degree in Family Science and from BYU with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college, I had the chance to teach in preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. After graduating, I taught 2nd grade in Alpine School District for 3 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. My kids are now ages 8-16 and are in school all day, so I’m excited to put some of my teaching experience back into practice.
